To ensure quality provision of new types of services and expand their range, a gradual transition to high-speed transmission systems such as STM-¼/16, DWDM, and CWDM is being implemented. The length of communication channels formed by digital transmission systems accounts for 94.47% of the total length of communication lines. The presence of a powerful transport network built on fiber-optic and radio-relay communication lines has made it possible to deliver Internet access services to virtually all district centers of the Republic. The service is provided based on the Tajiktelecom JSC transport network, built using modern technologies — SDH and DWDM and equipment from leading global manufacturers: Siemens, Alcatel, NEC, Huawei, which together ensures: high service reliability; a wide range of available speeds; the ability to quickly increase channel bandwidth. The service allows transmission of any type of information using any protocol. Tajiktelecom JSC provides dedicated channels with bandwidth from 64 Kbps to 100 Mbps and above. To connect client equipment at channel endpoints, the following interfaces are supported: v. 35, G.703 Usage advantages: dedicated channels allow unlimited transmission of large volumes of any type of information — data, voice, video; the ability to organize corporate networks based on dedicated channels for companies with geographically distributed structures; a reliable method of protecting transmitted information for clients with high information security requirements; 24/7 use of a dedicated channel with guaranteed bandwidth. For providing international channels, direct international routes have been opened to the following countries: Belarus, United Kingdom, Germany, Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, UAE, China, Korea, USA, Turkey, Ukraine, Japan.
